The irresistable Nancy Curry returns for a you-asked-for-it sequel to non-brayered beginning resist. In this class you will be adding complexity to a beginning composition to create a mood. Techniques explored include the use of palette stamps, templates, foam palettes and patterning by mixing ink types, splattering, masking grids and freeform bargello design.Students will need to bring 3-5 dye ink pads (darker colors provide more contrast), several themed stamps in various sizes, a shadow or flat palette stamp, and basic stamping suitcase - cutting mat/tool, heat tool, solvent based cleaner, scrap paper as well as the *basic tool kit)

Join Nancy Curry as she delights us with a freewheeling, freestyle, color drenched piece of fabulousness. The first part of this workshop will focus on creating several prints using various water mediums. You will then choose your favorite (that's the hard part) to transform into a piece of canvas art. Fibers, glitter, charms, beads, etc. will be used to add fun and flair. Finishing canvas and adhesive will be provided so that your piece will be museum ready. MoMA look out!
