Exploring Writing Through the Senses
Sunday, October 22, 10am-5pm

It is possible to devlop writing through sight, sound and touch. In this class, we will explore writing visually, by developing and altering one's handwriting. Sound and touch can also play a significant part in enlivening the quality of line. Each of us can begin with our own hand, engaging in exercises that help us to see pattern, texture and continuity.
We will also use poetry as a way to engage with our handwriting. The sounds in poetry open the door to alliteration and assonance and the richness of language.

The cost of this workshop is $85 per person plus a $7 primary materials fee. A supply list will be sent upon receipt of registration. Rock Paper Scissors will be offering a 20% discount on any additional (optional) supplies for this workshop. Light refreshments will be offered.
